Hopefully you've already noticed our latest programming change; if not though, allow me to elaborate. We felt that RadioYou has been a bit schitzo with it's radical free format so we decided to make ourselves a tad bit more familiar. Though we're still holding on to our specialty shows, we have added two solid Monday-Friday Dj's; Lauren LaRocque in the midday, and Symon Fenix for the afternoon. This does not in any way, shape, or form mean that we've gone mainstream, or sold out, or whatever! Both Dj's still specialize in playing the best RadioYou Boston rock, indie, and local music. We hope you find the new changes satisfactory. Your feedback is always welcome! So please, tell us what's on your mind, radioyouboston@gmail.com.
Cheers!

Yaaaay! (read that in the voice of Special Ed, trust me, it's just funnier)
Hey Everyone! I just discovered my computer's working with this website again. Therefore, I just had to Blog immediately! So what's new you say? Well, I'll give you the bad news first. The bad news is we didn't win that award for best HD side channel. However, one could argue that we did "unofficially" win it. I certainly like to think that we are the greatest. The award went to Riff2, an HD side channel based in Detroit. That's all fine and dandy except for the fact that RadioYou is waaaaay cooler than them. All I can say is, we'll get you next year Riff2, if that even is your real name.
Moving on to the good news; the RadioYou entourage continues to grow and gain new members for your listening pleasure. We have a new folk show hosted by Michael Leahy called, "Cool As Folk". Now, I know what you're thinking, Folk and Cool? That's probably the biggest oxymoron imagineable. Trust me, I don't even like folk music and yet somehow this guy makes me want to listen to his show! Just give it a chance; check it out every Thursday night from 9pm-11pm.
We've also added the oh so foxy, Miss Charliee Foxx to the lineup. She plays some pretty heavy stuff so brace yourself for this sassy Rock Block on Wednesday afternoons from 3pm-7pm.
And if you've had troubles finding "Intercoursing," oh, my deepest apologies. Where did I put that, oh, it's around here somewheeeeere. Ah yes! it has been moved to Tuesday nights starting at 9pm. Be sure to tune in then for advice on the topics of sex, relationships, emotions, and even drug and alcohol addicition.
We're still in the process of adding new shows and hosts so I'll surely keep you posted on that my friends. But, until then, continue listening, requesting songs, and spreading the word. We are all a part of RadioYou Boston (that's why it's called radio YOU) so make sure you don't slack on those things!
Peace, Love & Retro Muff,
Lauren LaRocque

Wowza!
Okaaaaaaaaaaaaay,
My apologies for not blogging to you sooner but my computer is outrageous and wouldn't let me into the blogger. Needless to say, I'm borrowing someone eles's computer. No worries, I'll find a way to keep you updated on this thing somehow! Lauren LaRocque always finds a way...
Anywho! The previous blog mentions a new show but does not tell you what time it's on. SO, let me tell you that right now. Street Credentials, hosted by DJ Milkman & DJ TJ, airs every Friday night from 8pm-10pm. Be sure to tune in this Friday, so you can jam out while you're getting ready to hit the town!
Rock on,
LL
P.S. PocketRadio--you are a silly, silly human being. Good day! I SAID GOOD DAY!

RadioYou Hip-Hops over a pile of Reggaetón
Just when you thought the station couldn't get any cooler, we go and do something like this. We are adding a brand new show featuring a luxurious mix of Hip-Hop and Reggaetón music. Not only that, the hosts of the show are still in High School! Have we completely lost our minds, or did we just open up a whole new box of street cred? Find out by tuning in to RadioYou Boston next Friday the 27th. I'll let you know the exact time slot as soon as we make a final decision on that.
In other news, RadioYou has submitted an essay to the National Association of Broadcasters in hopes to win the new HD Radio Multicast award which is to be presented at the NAB Radio Show in Charlotte. We'll keep you posted on the results of that as well. Wish us luck!

Retro Muff
...is a really great song by the Hot I.Q.'s so check it out! Anyways, today is just another manic Monday here on RadioYou. The system went a bit haywire(some shows aired a bit early, etc.)-we apologize for any inconvenience and are working on figuring out what the heck happened and how to stop it. If you weren't listening at all today then just ignore the above statements...because you know the whole deal with the tree falling in the woods and nobody being around and blah blah blah. However, if you weren't listening and that actually made you sad, and you're a nightowl, you should know RadioYou re-airs all of the day's programming at night, into the wee hours! Okay so that's all I have to say for now, er, I think. Have a lovely rest of your Monday and make sure you're telling all your friends about HD Radio! ~ http://www.hdradio.com/ Oh yes, and be sure to hit up the website~ http://www.radioyouboston.com/ (currently the myspace page too--so freakin' add us already!)
